HOLY COW.

33 POSTS IN A SINGLE MONTH? Oh my gods.

That is certainly a lot from Summer Falls's stock. This has just got to go into the records of the Falls Book of World Records (an adaptation from Abby Hayes). But seriously, 33 FREAKING POSTS IN A MONTH? I'm so cool.

It's probably all because of the 30 day challenge scheme. Still.

33-15=18. 18 ORIGINAL POSTS IS STILL...not a lot. Okay. Never the mind. :) Random, but guess what? I suck crap at Mental Math, I had to do that subtraction, counting with my fingers.

Still.
Just for the sake of the post's intention,
33 POSTS IN A SINGLE MONTH. WOAHHH.

Joe Jonas Poster Theory

Challenge Summer #13 : This prompt has been given in by the dumb Swetha. Yes. For like the millionth time. Word/Page Limit : Not specified

Incase you haven't known already, I used to have this JJPOD. JJPOD stands for Joe Jonas Poster Obsession Disease. The thing is, whenever I used to look at the poster, I could feel him talk back to me. Like literally feel it. I could see him smirking or laughing. Whenever I got into trouble and would slump in my bedroom, he would smirk. I'd just sit there talking to him for like half and hour. It was especially distracting when I had to study. Because he'd just keep making faces. He's actually a really funny person. He used to keep cracking jokes now and then. We even sang a song together once.

I know it's a little creepy/freaky/weird, but it's true. I think I had like a severe case of hallucination at that moment.

I used to keep telling all my friends and they were simply creeped out. They were freaked out and told me to go measure his smile every night to see if he was actually making faces. Surprisingly to Alicia, one day when we measured it, his smile grew by like 3 cm. If I haven't mentioned already, for a few days, even Alicia thought that he was talking back to us.

But anyways, I don't anymore. I had to take off the poster during the summer though for reasons. Actually there was just one reason. He looked horribly weird in that poster. I bet Swetha is growling at this moment ; she was the one who got me the poster :) I'm just kidding. He looked okay, but I don't really care cause I'm a Jonas fan. I had to take off the poster for other reasons.

It's not back on my wall...yet. So, I'd just have to wait and see whether I still have JJPOD when I put the poster back up.

---

@Swetha : You just like watching the world think I'm a little weird, don't you?
@Swetha again : One more prompt. You're screwed.

Day Fifteen : PJ Challenge

DISCLAIMER : Two Challenges in a day because I didn't do mine yesterday. YAY! :)
Day Fifteen : Your favorite quote from the series?

"This is a...pen." - Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief

"'Braccas meas vescimini!' I wasn't sure where the Latin came from. I think it meant...eat my pants." - Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief

""Can't this thing go any faster?" Thalia demanded
Zoe glared at her. "I cannot control traffic"
"You both sound like my mother", I said
"SHUT UP!", they both said in unison"" - Percy Jackson and the Titan's Curse

""Brother,", Artemis chided. "You do not help my Hunters. You do not look at, talk to or flirt with my hunters. And you do not call them sweetheart." - Percy Jackson and the Titan's Curse

""You got something to say Seaweed Brain?"
"You'd probably kick my butt."
"You know I'd kick your butt."" - Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian

"I'm never ever going to make things easy for you Seaweed Brain. Get used to it." - Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian

---

Ha. That was fun. Ah...Percy Jackson Memories.

Day Fourteen : PJ Challenge

Day Fourteen : Your Ideal Movie Cast?

Percy Jackson : Logan Lerman/Zac Efron
Annabeth Jackson : Annasophia Robb/Ayla Kell
Thalia Grace : JoJo/Lucy Hale/Sarah Hyland
Clarisse : Emma Roberts
Bianca Di Angelo : Troian Bellisario
Grover : Dylan O' Brien
Silena Beauregard : Josie Loren
Rachel Elizabeth Dare : Holland Roden
Poseidon : Adam Sandler
Zeus : Tom Cruise

While the list may not be ideal, a few of them should really be in the movie.
What do YOU think?

Day Thirteen : PJ Challenge

Day Thirteen : Sea of Monsters Movie: Yes or No?
HECK YEAHH! I really want to see the Sea of Monsters movie, although I do not know whether it would be a box office hit. I mean, really. Can you imagine an audience loving a movie that features hideous looking, one eyed cyclopes? I wouldn't.
Yet, I really want to watch the movie. One reason is because I really liked the first movie. The second, because I want to see how they're going to portray Tyson and the other Cyclops. The third would be, more than the second movie, I really want to watch the war between the Titans and the Gods in the fifth installment and also want to watch the Battle of the Labyrinth. For that to happen, the second one has gotta come out. So yeah
But anyways, the straight answer would be, 'Yes. I do want a Sea of Monsters movie'

Day Twelve : PJ Challenge

Day Twelve : Your favorite part in the Lightning Thief book that wasn't included in the movie?
Like I've said previously, I love how they keep the suspense travelling as we still don't know who Percy's dad is. That's my favorite part in the book.
My other favorite part would include the whole Ares/Aphrodite/Hades interference. Hades was in the movie, but he didn't have like a key role or atleast, it didn't seem so.
So yeah. That's what I think.

You know, I have a Spanish II Exam tomorrow. And I don't even know why I'm even on the internet. Oh crap.

The Toilet Gang

Challenge Summer #12 : This prompt has been given in by Swetha, a girl who claims to be Thalia Grace. Yes, again. For like the third time. :) Word/Page Limit : Not specified

Thing is, we compose of this little 'gang'/group thing at school. So, Swetha and me made a code language for all of our names. Actually two. It's really embarrassing, but yeah. Swetha's name was something like, pee poo and mine was something like, poo pee. One of the others went something like, poo pee poo. And you can imagine the rest :)

The other code language was something not as innovative as the one on top. :) My code is shower and Swetha's is vomit. Sick. Gross. I know. Alicia was the toothbrush. They were all as weird.

From the moment we made our first code, we began to call ourselves the Toilet Gang. Atleast, she began to. Trust me, she's a little crazy.

I seriously didn't want to post about this. 'cause this is just simply weird. Haha. But yeah. Swetha's crazy. She's weird like that.

This is really embarrassing, considering the fact it's one of those things I'd keep to myself. But hey, haven't you done anything weird/crazy in your childhood?

Keep sending in more 'Challenge Summer!' ideas!

@Swetha - You're dead for giving me this challenge. Dead as meat. :\
@Swetha again - And you're gonna be twice as dead if you give me any more stupid prompts. :)

A Typical Fun Movie

Challenge Summer #11 : The prompt, 'Write About Our Movie', has been given to me by Swetha. Word/Page Limit - Not specified

So it all started off with an email thread between Swetha and Karen. They made this really 'cheesy' script for a movie and I told them to forward it to me. And they did. I read it and started laughing out loud. It was actually like a sort of mash up between the music video of You Belong With Me and the movie A Cinderella Story. They considered themselves to be the directors of the movie and I placed myself as the producer of the movie. From that point onwards, we began to decide our cast crew which I shall explain later. The script, in brief, is as follows.

To start off with, there's the popular guy called Austin and this other nerdy girl called Emily. Emily's best friend is Natalie, who constantly falls into fights with Em because she can't stand up for herself and is real shy and stuff. The other main character is Ashley, the popular spoiled girl.

So Austin and Em are neighbors. The neighbor kind in You Belong With Me. You know the ones, where the guy's bedroom is like opposite the girls'? Like in Spiderman too? Anyways, Em always liked Austin. So one day, Austin and Em get paired up as science partners for the fair. From that point onwards, Austin and Em begin to interact more often although Em is the typical her, all shy and to her self. One day, Austin realizes that Em is too shy to look at him and tells her not to be scared. Then there's this other part where Austin asks Em if she's coming to prom and Em says that she isn't because she has to study. Total You Belong With Me ripoff. I know. Anyways, the rest of the story is how Ashley causes problems between the two. One night, during a family dinner, Austin calls her aside and talks to Em. They sort everything out and then get back together. This time, officially. The last scene is at prom with them waltzing. The End.

So yeah. That's pretty much it. Typical teenage story, I know. But hey, I didn't make the script. It was all Karen and Swetha. It was cool when I read the script although it's like the average American-o styled story, it was hilarious and fun reading it. Plus, it's not like we're actually making a movie. It's totally for fun purposes.

Anyways, Swetha and I decided the cast crew for the story. Here's how it is.
Austin : Logan Lerman/Zac Efron
Emily : Megan Nicole/??? (we're not sure yet...)
Ashley : Taylor Swift/Tiffany Alvord
Natalie : Anne Hathaway
Austin's Best Friends : Liam Payne and Joe Jonas
Austin's Mom/Emily's Mom : Ellen DeGeneres
Austin's Mom/Emily's Mom : Marie Canals Barrera
Other Minor Roles : Rest of One Direction and The Other Jo Bros
Soundtrack by : Christina Grimmie/Boyce Avenue/Alicia Meadows

So yes. This is practically it. YO HAPPY NOW SWETHAA?

Keep sending in more 'Challenge Summer!' prompts! You may give it to me by posting comments on any one of my posts or by face-to-face contact. I promise to blog about whatever prompt you give me!

Day Eleven : PJ Challenge

DISCLAIMER : There are two 'challenges' on the same day because I didn't post it yesterday.

Day Eleven : Your least favorite scene in The Lightning Thief movie?
It's not like its my least favorite scene, but I didn't like how they revealed who Percy's dad was in the beginning of the movie itself. I mean, I know they were restricted by the time limit but this is just what I thought: I thought that the book was far more interesting because it keeps you guessing in and around about Percy's godly parent. I think that the audience would we much more interesting and the movie would have been much more appealing if they had done so. Except, like I've said before, I guess it isn't really possible because of the curtailment in the time.

Day Ten : PJ Challenge

Day Ten : Your favorite scene in The Lightning Thief movie?
With no hesitation, my favorite would be the scene that takes place in the Lotus Casino. It's perfect. Just like the way it is in the book. It's really cool and I love how they depict the characters losing track of time. And of course, Lady Gaga's Pokerface just tops it off. :) The part where Percy hears his father's voice and gets warned is really cool too.

My other not-really-favorite-but-interesting part would be the Capture the Flag part. I think they portrayed the game quite well in the movie...

Excuse Me

You've got to excuse me for not blogging or doing the 30 day challenge because I have zero time and gotta do math.
CURSE THE MATH. GAHHH.
So yes, that's the point. I'd be blogging soon anyways. Like probably by...tomorrow :)

MY HUNDREDTH!!!

I'VE OFFICIALLY COMPLETED POSTING 100 POSTS! (including this one, of course)

*cheers* *hoots* *whistles* *streamers all over* *PARTAYYY TIME!*

Okay. Now what? :/

Day Nine : PJ Challenge

Day Nine : Your opinion as Alexandra Daddario as Annabeth Chase?
One word. Blech.
Annabeth is not supposed to be so tough and all put up. She is supposed to be bossy, but was not supposed to have teenage attitude. The way she acts to Percy in the books is completely different from the way she does in the movie. It's so vile, mean, stern and confused.
In the next movie, if Alexandra Daddario is supposed to capture the role of Annabeth, I think that the director should definetly make some changes in her role.

YouTube Singers

Challenge Summer #10 : This prompt has been given to me by Alicia Meadows. Not voluntarily, but because I made her give me one. :) Word/Page Limit - Not specified

I think that YouTube singers should be given much more remuneration and priority when compared to a few of the existing singers. YouTube singers are actually very talented and deserve to be a major component in the music industry. The real good YouTube singers have already been recognized by the people and are already touring with singers such as Boyce Avenue and Christina Grimmie.

Christina Grimmie is amazing. She's probably one of my most favorite singers EVER. She just has that natural raw talent of singing. No autotuning involved. She's just a natural.

Boyce Avenue is heaven-like too. They're amazing. Alejandro's voice is like Grimmie's too. It's so...natural. It feels like he's singing from the depth of his heart. I can't even pick between the songs he sings. I love all of them. Grenade, What Makes You Beautiful, We Found Love, Without You, Mean, Skyscraper are just the few that are AHHH. Their acoustic versions are just so peaceful. They're beautiful singers.

Megan Nicole and Tiffany Alvord are wonderful singers as well. Although Megan Nicole uses autotuning, she's still amazing. Their cover of Safe and Sound and Who Says was amazing. I also loved She Will Be Loved by Tiffany Alvord and Boyce Avenue.

I think YouTube singers should be recognized more by the audience out in the world rather than listening to people with not much of talent. *hint hint - people like Selena Gomez*

My favorite would be Boyce Avenue. They're jeshtt beautiful singers. :)

NICK AND DELTA!!!

NICK AND DELTA OFFICIALLY BROKE UP!
YES!
I mean. Seriously. Nick's like this 19 year old dude and Delta's like 27. They don't even look like a proper couple. Besides, Delta is probably like a foot taller than him.
Anyways, this post is completely useless to most of you out there, but I'm just super shocked. Very shocked, indeed. I just had to post this to express my outburst.
AAHHH.
NICK HAS FINALLY COME TO HIS SENSES.

Day Eight : PJ Challenge

Day Eight : Logan Lerman or Jake Abel?
LOGAN LERMAN ALL THE WAYYYY!
Truth is, I think Jake Abel acts real well but I hate Luke in the first book/movie. I get the reason behind why he wanted to revolt against the gods, but it isn't a good enough reason to join the Titans. I love Percy J. and Logan Lerman takes up his role. So naturally, he'd get an extra brownie point.
And don't you think Logan Lerman looks better? :)

I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE SEA OF MONSTERS IN 2013!!!

Monday, February 20, 2012

Day Seven : PJ Challenge

Day Seven : Who is your least favorite female character?
I don't really specifically hate any female in the Percy Jackson series... I would have said Clarisse, but no. She was actually a demigod who took major part in the war against Kronos...
But if the Percy Jackson series would include the Heroes of Olympus series as well... my least favorite character would definantly be Drew. Ugh. How I despise Drew.

Sunday, February 19, 2012

Day Six : PJ Challenge

Day Six : Who is your least favorite male character?
With no doubt, Smelly Gabe. I could just rip his head off. Although he's already stoned cause of Medusa's head. Yeah!

3. Use the song title as an answer to each question
4. NO CHEATS!

"Firework" by Katy Perry
(There. Another one that dosen't make sense. At all. Nada)

(What about Daddy?)

12. My Grandparents?
"Rhythm of Love" by The Plain White T's

"Hey You" by the Jonas Brothers
(What???)

24. What should I do now?
"Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson
(I'm going to sleep.)

25. What should I name this post?
"Rock God" by Selena Gomez
(Just to clear it off. I hate this song. I hate her songs. I hate her. And I just happen to have this song on my iPod because I downloaded her whole album into my iPod before even listening to it. So there.)

---

That was fun. But hell long. Now I gotta go study. GAHHHH.

Day Five : PJ Challenge

Day Five: Who is your favorite female character?
Thalia Grace and Sally Jackson.
Thalia is so much like Percy J. and I love Percy Jackson. She's carefree but very determined as well. Plus, she's a hunter. And I love hunters.
Coming to Sally Jackson... do I need to say anymore? She's super sweet and very supportive of her son. And for a person to spend over a decade with a man like Smelly Gabe for her son has to require strong might, care and a heart.

Quote

I'm proud to say that I'm an official quote maker. Yes, you heard that right. Summer Falls just made up a quote. I told my dad the quote and he smirked, saying it was a saying and not a quote. Well Daddy, I think it's a quote. OKAYY? :) So here's how it goes :

'Don't try fitting in with the trend because by the time you do ; it would be outdated'.

This, I made earlier in school today, thinking about the over-done drama at school. A good one, right? I know.

Note : Please do not copy zee quote for I am paranoid that it might be. Do so only on sole permission by the author, that is, me.

Pottermore?

I thought Pottermore was supposed to be open for all back in October 2011.
1. How come it's still not open?
2. What's BETA?
3. When would it be open?

Day Four : PJ Challenge

Day Four : Who is your favorite male character?
I'd have to say it would be Percy Jackson himself. Percy Jackson's extremely kind, sweet, sensitive and determined. He's a very interesting character and has a very bland, cheeky sense of humor - but the kind which makes you laugh out loud.
According to the book, Percy's described as a weak, skinny and wimpy guy. But in my head, Percy looks a heck lot like Jason Grace, except with black hair and green eyes. And so, Percy J. looks quite...good. :)

Who's your favorite male character?

What I Am Going To Do After Doomtime

Once the calender turns to the date March 5th, my plans are totally planned.
1. Read. Read. Read.
2. Blog more often
3. Go shopping with my friends
4. Watch movies
5. Catch up on my Pretty Little Liars
6. Make our own version of 'The Mysterious Ticking Noise' with my friends
7. Complete my on-going story
8. Write a story for the Story Writing Competition
9. Start preparation for the SAT's. (yes, I know I'd just be done studying. But I have no choice)
10. Bake cookies. I've never baked cookies before, so I wanna give it a shot.
11. Play with Niksters
12. Have a Harry Potter Movie Rally
13. Play more Shuttle to grow taller :)
14. Watch more Jeremy related videos :)
15. HAVE LOADS OF FUNNN.

MARCH FIFTH. GO BY ALREADY.

Day Three : PJ Challenge

Day Three : If you were a demigod, whose child would you be?
Hmm... a hard one. If I had a choice to pick, I think I'd go for Poseidon, Apollo or Athena.

Poseidon's pretty cool. I mean, when you're his son/daughter, having underwater powers and the ability to control water would be crazy fun. Except I'd have to be called Seaweed Brain. *smiles*

Apollo is the coolest god ever (as depicted by the PJ series). And having to listen to his haikus all nights long would be really fun. And since, he's also the god of music, prophecies and poetry, that would be pretty interesting...

Athena. Is there any more to say? The goddess of battle strategies, wisdom and reason. You'd be born with a perfect brain.

But if I had to pick one out of these three, I'd say it would have to be Apollo. Life as one of the Big Three's son would be scary. *shudders* Monsters all day and all night. Being the sort of paranoid person, I wouldn't prefer that.

Athena as a godly parent, would make me smart. Agreed, but there isn't anything too special about that. I mean, anybody could be extremely smart with hardwork and the right brains.

But Apollo...he's funny. Cool. Smart. Poetic. Musical. A healer. And of course, a bright light. He would be perfect.

Who would you pick?

Day Two : PJ Challenge

Day Two : What is your least favorite PJO book and why?
If I had to pick, I think it would be the second one, 'Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters'. It was real good, I'm not denying that fact. But out of the five books in the series, this seemed the most unappealing or uninteresting to me. While I was reading, it just felt normal...like an ordinary book. I thought that a sequel to the Lighting Thief should be much more deserving. I think I didn't really appeal to it because of it's bland story line or the fights that took place. But one thing that was so random and surprising was the Thalia appearance.
All in all, it was an okay book to me. Not that great, not that bad. But definently, not the kind I'd be reading repeatedly.

Tuesday, February 14, 2012

Day One : PJ Challenge

Day One : What is your favorite Percy Jackson book?
My favorite Percy Jackson book would be the last one in the series, 'Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian'. I like this one the best because it's like the time period when the long-awaited fights between the Titans, the Gods and the Mortals arise during which secrets began to unleash. It's also the book where Percy confirms his love to Annabeth and their underwater moment is just so sweet! One thing Riordan made amazingly perfect was the Annabeth/Percy couple. It's just the way it should be. Classic. This book's ending was also very satisfactory and content, ending well but giving a hint that the fight's not over with the next Great Prophecy.
This is my favorite PJO book, what's yours?

March The Fifth

March the Fifth of 2012 is probably the most awaited days in the history of my life.

THE DAY WHEN MY EXAMINATIONS END!
THE DAY WHEN I'M FINALLY FREE!
THE DAY WHEN I CAN GO BACK STALKING MY FAVORITE MUSICIANS.
THE DAY WHEN I DON'T NEED TO SLEEP LATE NIGHTS AND WAKE UP EARLY MORNINGS.
THE DAY WHEN I CAN FINALLY GO OUT WITH FRIENDS/FAMILY WITHOUT WORRIES.
THE DAY WHEN I CAN CATCH UP WITH MY READING/WATCHING TV SHOWS/PLAYING WITH MY DOG/DOING MY USUAL STUFF.
THE DAY WHEN I DON'T NEED TO KEEP DOING MY SYLLABUS OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

Oh god. Please make time fly faster.

The Voice

Along with my two other friends, I've successfully completed writing a ballad. Although it requires a lot more editing, here's how it goes...
Whilst riding me horse,
I hear a precious tone.
Hear an enthralling voice.
I stop startled.
Turn me horse 'round,
To follow the irresistible melody.
I come closer to see,
A beautiful maiden,
Dressed in pearl green.
Singing thy song,
Whilst picking berries.
Then I know,
How it feels,
To be encaptured by
One's love and beauty
I get down me horse,
In a trance of fascination.
I stand mesmerized,
Wanting to speak,
I stumble forward,
Taking a breath,
To say four words,
In the enchanting moment.
All of a sudden,
Four men appear from the woods,
Gag the maiden,
And within a flash,
Took the lady away.
I run to me horse
In shock and despair,
To chase the men,
Who took love away.
The minutes that followed,
I fought the men,
Just like Trevelyan,
And took my love with me.
At last I say the four words,
"Will you marry me?"
- 'The Voice' by Summer, Anjali and Sharon

I LIKE THAT STUFF.

The following poem contains a pattern. Guess whether you can guess?
Crunchy oatmeal cookies,
Yummy pound cake.
Chocolate coated strawberries,
Large veggie sandwiches.
Deliciously cooked pasta,
Tasty pepperoni pizza.
Spicy red chicken,
Store bought cereal.
Mom's homemade lasagna,
Mouthwatering licorice.
BOY OH BOY!
I LOVE THAT STUFF!

---
In case any of you have guessed, it's a lame pattern I know, but the thing is in the poem, two sentences are paired. And in these two sentences, the food items start with the same letter. Yeah. That's sorta it.

A Father-Daughter Thing

sitting on my dad's lap,
listening while he reads me a story,
laughing while he makes silly faces,
shouting while he tickles me.
now,
i sit next to him
thinking about those days,
the days of beautiful memories

Current Status : 1D

In my previous posts, I've just described myself as a sole Liam Payne liker. But things have changed from then to now. And I figured I'm in love with the whole band! Reasons why:
1. Harry's voice can make me melt. Yes yes I know... I've started liking Harry Styles. I still dont love him. I just like his voice, that's all.
2. Liam's presence is just...ahh. I love Liam for the obvious reasons and also because he's probably the most dignified and grandfather-like in the whole band. And well duh, his voice is heavenlike. Except I hate it when he over-pronounces his British accent...
3. Zayn's laugh and his VAS HAPPENIN! :) Zayn's voice. Zayn's indian accent. Zayn's chilli eating. Zayn's fail dancing. Zayn's just got the swagg :)
4. Louis and his crackpotness. Louis's voice is really good too despite the fact that he gets to sing very rarely...
5. NIALLL <3 His Irish accent is just so... differently cool! It's quite funny actually. And not to mention the way he imitates the American accent!
6. ONE DIRECTION IS JUST AMAZING.

Cartoons

Sometimes, don't you just feel as though you could see people on TV in reality? I'm talking about animated people. People like...
1. JEREMY <3 from Phineas and Ferb. He's amazing. Ah... he's the cool-est guy on that show or any animated show ever recorded. If he was real, he'd probably be my one of my best-est friends EVER :)
2. Patrick Star from SpongeBob SquarePants. That would be real funny. I think he would be like a soul sister/brother to this girl I know named Swetha...
3. Kim Possible from Kim Possible.

And sometimes, the people in reality resemble partially/completely animated people. Like...
1. AJ from Fairly Odd Parents. There's this dude in my grade, Danny, and he's like an exact replica of AJ from the show. I'm not even kidding.
2. Suzy from Phineas and Ferb. You know, Jeremy's sister? Well she's just like...just like my brother. Seriously. Okay, okay, Suzy's slightly off, but still.
