I didn't really share any special bond with any of the characters who had passed away, although I feel bad for them. But if I had to pick one, I think it would be Zoe Nightshade.
For me, this one was...wait for it...LUKE'S. Can you BELIEVE it? Cus I can't. I spent all five books DESSSSPISING Luke. I started screaming and stomping around eveyr time I heard his name. And then he died. I teared up. I hated Rick Riordan that day, and completely respected him too. Only a really good writer can make you cry at the death of someone you considered Your Worst Enemy.
