Challenge Summer #18 : This prompt has been given by Swetha and by me, partially. Thing is, I was going to write about it anyways but Swetha told me to before I could. Word/Page Limit : THANKFULLY, not specified.
A&D is this story on Wattpad written by fallenbabybubu and it's amazing! You can find it here. And guess what? It's inspired by You Belong With Me! It's a beautiful story, about friendship and love.
It's about two neighbors, Aaron and Dakota, who were childhood best buds since they were born. Dakota, a full on geek/nerd, falls for Aaron, her best friend and the school's popular jock before she knows it. But Aaron dosen't realize he loves her. Well he does, but in a friendly, brotherly way. But then, he figures he's mistaken and actually loves her. When he does, problems arise and Dakota's not in his reach. The rest of the story is about their misunderstandings, compromises and confessions.
AND GUESS WHAT AGAIN? Aaron Ford is played by THE Logan Lerman! And he's PERFECT for the role. *hyperventilation strike* Dakota Evans is played by Selena Gomez, but surprisingly, it actually suits her.
There are a few fan-made trailers for this story. And my favorite is this one.
I love this story and I'm probably going to be obsessed with it for a couple o' more days.
You've GOT to read it, if you're one of those people who love You Belong With Me or these kind of mild romance stories. GAHH. I'm in love with this story.

Snuffles.
Sirius Black is probably the bravest man I ever knew. The sweetest. The kindest. The funniest. The best. And he had to go through it all. His best friend, James Potter, died. All because of his other friend, stupid Peter. And then, Remus believes it was Sirius, along with the rest of the world. He takes in all the world's hatred and gets sent to Azkaban for 13 FREAKING LONG YEARS, for something he didn't even do. That poor thing.
And then, just when he was about to find family, when Harry was supposed to move in with him that summer, that stupid ol' Bellatrix had to kill him.
Every time I read a chapter of a fanfiction involving the Marauders or when I read Harry Potter, my mind drifts to Sirius and the hate he had to go through. Gah. Curse that Voldemort. And more importantly, curse that Pettigrew. How dare he betray his friends. How in the world did the hat sort him into Gryffindor anyway?
Sirius would have had a life. Along with James and Lily. And Harry. But no. Someone had to clear it all. Whilst writing this itself, I can't take it. Imagine if you were him, one day having the time of your life in Hogwarts and the next, your best friend is dead and you're in Azkaban, framed for his murder. I can't even think about it.
And to top it all off, his last words were, "Good one James". Really Sirius? GAHH. Bellatrix, go to hell.
When Nicky is going to get puppies (yes, I think she is!), I'm making sure I name one 'Snuffles'. RIP Sirius.

Peeta Obsession Overload
Oh lord.
Peeta Mellark.
Officially my new favorite character, although I haven't read Catching Fire completely as of yet.
But still.
He's amazing.
He's brave and bold.
He could go to ANY extreme to protect Katniss.
He's sweet and gentle.
He's funny and hilarious.
He's a lot like Jason Grace, but a much easy person.
He's Peeta Mellark, for heavens.
If you would look at my table and the other three tables surrounding me, you would find the name Peeta Mellark written about a hundred times in pencil. There's also this tiny scribbling on the wall right next to me in pencil stating 'Peeta Mellark <3' Now. That's obsession.
I think I'm going to the movies tomorrow. I'm not sure. But I can't wait!

I just realized that Peeta Obsession Overload could be abbreviated into 'POO' :)

TEAM PEETA!
I'm finally done with The Hunger Games. And might I say, it's one of THE most best books ever. And I've got to mention the name of the wonderful Peeta Mellark. He's probably the reason, my friend Katherine and I, got through the whole book. He's amazing and so supportive. Whenever I'm reading Peeta's parts, I can't help but feeling this sense of warmth around me. Like he's defending, protecting and caring for me...well Katniss, but whatever. The portion of the book where Peeta isn't mentioned, the part where Katniss is with Rue, I couldn't help but flipping the pages until I saw Peeta's name. It's like he gave me hope to complete it. Peeta is amazing. Statement.
And now, I'm KILLING to watch the movie.
But there's a slight problem.
Peeta is just perfect the way I imagine him in my head. So are everybody else. I'm not sure Josh Hutcherson would play Peeta perfectly.I'm not even done with the series yet and I don't want my creations/imaginations to change 'cause of the movie's depictions.
But whatever.
I'm watching the movie as quick as I can.
For Peeta.
For Katniss.
For Rue.
For Prim.
For Hunger Games.

The Hunger Games
While the whole world is spinning on their tails, re-reading the books and watching the movie, here is Summer Falls, who hasn't even read the book once. Yup, you heard that all right.
Thing is, I've always considered that book to be one of those old boring books which lay still and dusty on a bookshelf. But then, there started this crazy fandom and everybody around me started reading it and telling me it was better than anything else they've read. I would just sit dumb and listen to people's conversations about how AMAZING the book is. I wanted to read it bad. I asked about 4 people if I could borrow the book and their answers were either, 'I'm sorry, but I gave it to my friend to read' or 'Not right now. I'm reading it'. And I was like, WHAAAAAT? Because I wanted to read it before the movie came out. But it turns out that I'm most probably going to go next Friday, so I still have some time.
Oh come on you little slowpokes. Finish the book already! If nobody finishes it by tomorrow, I'm just going to rush the store and get a copy myself.

The Son of Neptune
WARNING : Contains Spoilers
The Son of Neptune is definitely a brilliant and amazing come back to the spin off series, The Heroes of Olympus. It carried the same style of The Lost Hero and was based on the same storyline, adding a few extra information here and there but was extremely intriguing.
One of the best parts? Well, we find out where Percy Jackson is and he returns as one of the main protogonists in the story. Like Jason, he doesn't remember his memory but he does remember that Annabeth was someone special in his life. Quite suprisingly, he regains parts of his memory throughout the book and at the end of it, remembers it all.
The other protogonist is Hazel Levesque. She's the daughter of Pluto and actually comes back from the dead. The one part about her that made me hyperventilate was that she loved a man named Sammy in her life, but she finds out that he's dead. And then, Percy gets a video tape from the Argo II, with Leo Valdez in it. Then. There. We find out that Sammy Valdez is none other than Leo Valdez.
The third and final protogonist is Frank Zhang. He's the son of Mars and is described as a buff man with a baby-ish face. He's a Chinese, Canadian and Neptune descendent. He loves Hazel, while Hazel loves him back too. The silly but scary part of him is that his life depends on a piece of a burnt stick.
The book relates to what happens in the Roman Camp and introduces us to many new characters. One that I find extremely annoying is Octavian. Ugh. The book also tells us more about the rise of Gaea and her plans.
The book, however, leaves us with tonnes of cliffhangers. Who's Jason going to be with? Piper or Reyna? How are they going to react to it? Who is Sammy Valdez/Leo Valdez? Is Hazel going to be with Leo or Frank? Does Annabeth have the mark of Athena? What is the Mark of Athena? How are these seven demigods from the Roman Camp and Greek Camp going to be with each other? We just need to wait and see for the next fall for The Mark of Athena.

Jason
Challenge Summer #2 : This prompt has been given by Questa. Word/Page Limit : More than one sentence.
Jason Grace, when he was first introduced in the books, I knew there was going to be something I was going to like about him. Turns out I like everything about him. He had everything a demigod needed - looks, abilities, power, and blah blah. I loved the way he acted to everybody as well, even when he didn't remember his past. But then again, I don't know - we don't know - anything about him. We just know the him after he lost his memory. What if he is this real tough guy? What if he was trained to kill anyone who seemed like an enemy? (That is, the Greeks.) What if he is not the Jason I imagined him to be? For all of this answers, I have to wait till October 3rd. Till then, I shall assume that Jason is a guy imagine him to be.
And if he is, well that's amazing. He is good looking, although I do not like blond hair very much. But the image of Jason in my head is very nice you see. And I like his electric blue eyes. WAITT... INTERRUPTION : What do you prefer - Harry's green eyes or Jason's electric blue eyes? This is a hard one. But with the images of both of them in my head, I would prefer Jason's blue eyes. Anyways, yeah, as I was saying, I like Jason's eyes. Jason is also really sweet to Piper. I hate the way Piper gets jealous. Yeah, she's Aphrodite's daughter but still... it's so annoying when she gets so protective. Well, I guess I can't blame her. But it's so cute when Jason gets so uncomfortable with her! I WISH REYNA NEVER EXISTED! Entonces... Jason is really brave too. What would your reaction be if you had to fight monsters and crazy creatures and you don't even remember that you're a demigod? Despite losing his memory and not knowing who Leo and Piper really are, he's so loyal to them. That's so sweet of him. For some reason, Jason reminds me much of Percy Jackson. They're have a lot of differences, but they are common in a few ways. Both of them are loyal to the ones they like/love, they both are natural leaders, they both have skill and they both have determination, although Jason keeps criticizing himself when he does things wrong.
Coming back to a point previously mentioned, we still don't know who the 'real Jason' is and so, we just have to either consider 'Jason after he lost his memory' or just wait and see.

PJ, Joey and Bubblewrap
I am officially done with the Percy Jackson series last week. Yep, I know, I know, it's really late. But yeah, I'm still done. And I looooove it :) I just wish they projected Annabeth's and Percy's love a little more. And remember, in one of my previous posts, I said I'd say what I'd do if I were Percy Jackson once I'm done with the series? Here I go : If I were Percy Jackson, I'd go tell Annabeth that I love her so that readers like Summer, won't start getting tensed. Also, I'd be a little more proud of myself, something like Harry Potter. Percy Jackson should have a little more pride. Except sometimes that's a good thing. I hate it when Harry acts like he's much more powerful than his friends.
I have this Joe Jonas poster in my room and it is one of zee most fascinating posters of the world. You see, I have this feeling Joe and I share this empathy link, as quoted by Percy Jackson. I can actually talk to Joe. And guess what? He actually talks back. I make faces at Joe and guess what? He makes faces back to me! This is something like Questa's disease. She talks to her book character friends and they talk back. I guess it's just termed, obsession.
I don't know where I got this from. It's either from a blog or a book or television. But I remember reading this term, 'pink bubblewrap'. If anybody knows from where, please reply.

If I were...
...Harry Potter for a day - I'd take full advantage of my broomstick and play Qudditch day in and day out. I'd take autographs from Hermione and Ron. Although they'd wonder why. I'll visit Hogwarts and take pictures. Wait... are cameras used in Hogwarts? Did they ever mention cameras in the books? Cameras are Muggle artifacts and so... are they used by wizards? How do they take pictures and put them in the Wizard Newspapers like The Daily Prophet? Do they use cameras? I'm confused. QUESTA! MONICA! CASEY! One of you, all being Harry Potter geeks, answer the stuff above. Yes, I mean stuff intentionally. Not questions. Stuff. Whatever.
...Abby Hayes for a day - I'd act super sweet to Eva and Isabel, leaving them wondering why I was acting as such. I'd spend most of my day with Casey and Hannah for they are my favorites. Ah... what a cute pair :) Anyways, I'd read my journal/diary as I bet Abby doesn't reveal half the things in the books we read.
...the bear from the book, 'Jamberry' for a day - I'd travel back to Berryland and eat as many berries as possible :) Especially the razzamatazzberry.
...Percy Jackson for a day - The truth? Fine. Here's the truth;I haven't quite finished the first book of Percy Jackson as yet or watched the movie. And I don't really know the characters that well. And so, I'll leave this question aside until I finish the series.
...Charlie McDonnell for a day - I'd dedicate one entire vlog for the one and only JO BROS i.e Jonas Brothers!!! Or I'd do something really stupid and post it onto YouTube. Ooh... here's something I'd do. I, Charlie, will go to a stranger's house and ask for a slice of cheese. Hopefully, he'll give a slice to me. I'll peel the plastic covering off slowly and act like I'm about to eat it but instead... throw the slice of cheese on the stranger's forehead and yell, 'HAPPY CHEESE DAY!'. Gonna work? I don't think so. And so, this plan shall be declared as, FAIL.
...Spongebob Squarepants for a day - I'll take a trip to Dimmsdale, Timmy Turner's world, and pay off a visit to Timmy. I love Spongebob as well as Timmy. This way, I'll have a chance to do two things at once. I wish this could happen :) Sometimes, I feel like a toddler. You know this one side of the brain of mine says something like, 'Summer. You're thirteen. How could you like Spongebob and Timmy and Arthur and people like that?" and this other side of my brain goes like, 'Come on Summer! Don't listen to her! Who said teenagers can't like cartoons? Huh? Huh?'. And here I am confused. Oh well. I shalt not change. I still am Summer Falls, the teenager who loves certain cartoons. (the reason I said certain was 'cause I hate a few. Infact many. Like Tom 'n' Jerry and Go Diego Go)
...Monica Rez for a day - I'll agree to whatever Summer says for the first time in my life. Haha :) Take light off Monica :) Only kidding :)
Bye bye peoples. Huzza! (I'm currently obsessed with Questa's catchphrase. Huzza!)
